March Meeting

Our next General Meeting will be March 14th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Bring personal care items for the homeless which we will to donate to local shelters. Most requested items are as follows:
toothbrushes
small tubes of toothpaste
small travel size shampoo and conditioner
travel size deodorant
socks
hand lotion
mouthwash

Abbey Youth Fest!

Abbey Youth Fest is Saturday, March 13th from 9:00 a.m.-8:30 p.m. There is still time to sign up. Contact Diane Kratochvil for more information.

SAM CYO Lenten Retreat will be held February 19th and 20th at Camp Istrouma. Registrations and fees due at the General Meeting on January 31st.

Our February 7th meeting has been moved up to January 31st due to the Superbowl!
Wear your Black and Gold and get ready for a Super Bowl Warm Up Party! Football food will be served!

November Meeting

Our next General Meeting is Sunday, November 8th at 6:30 p.m. We will have our annual pot luck dinner when YOU do the cooking! There will be prizes awarded for your creations.

World Youth Day

This Sunday our CYO attends World Youth Day at Loyola University in New Orleans! The theme this year is "The Army of the One". We are taking the largest group we have ever had! Please pray for those attending and all those preparing a wonderful day of prayer, talks, music and liturgy. Thanks to our SAM's own Teen Cross members, Charlotte McLoughlin, Nicole Delesdernier, and Nicole Morise. Our new Archbishop, Gregory Aymond will be joining us.

What a wonderful turnout!

Thanks to all who came out to explore SAM CYO at our barbecue on May 31st. We had over 70 people many of whom were new members! We are excited about the response. Thanks to the adults who chaperoned, provided Barbecues, and set up. (Ferd and Kim Schaff, Jan and John Reuther, Mike and Mary Delesdernier, Kathleen and Bill Steen, and Janice Wolff.) Thanks also to your officers and board members who set up, filled water balloons, cooked and cleaned up!
